Eco-friendly products and practices
Because we design and make most of our products, we have more control over how and what they’re made of.
Wherever possible we use recycled material, and our ReVive range is made from 100% recycled plastic. They’re also designed to use less energy, requiring less refills and maintenance visits. This reduces the carbon footprint of our service.
Waste diversion and energy recovery
When hygiene waste is disposed of at landfill, it can take more than 500 years to decompose.
The industry-leading phs LifeCycle Strategy diverts hygiene waste collected by phs away from landfill and instead takes it to energy recovery facilities (ERFs). It is then turned into low carbon electricity for the national grid.
We divert a minimum of 92% of waste from landfill to be recycled or used as energy, with some areas of the UK achieving 100% recycling.
I am extremely happy with the Airscent Xtra placed in our restrooms. We often have customers comment on how fresh the restrooms are since we upgraded to Airscent Extra. The pink grapefruit leaves a long lasting fresh scent.
